Video from Iraq

The web is great because information can flow so easily.
But how do you know it’s true?
Well here’s a video supposedly showing private policemen in Iraq randomly opening fire on people…they use a machine gun.
Read more here for details.

Is anyone surprised that this is going on in Iraq…especially after Abu Graib?
Imagine driving down to the store and getting bullets for breakfast.
How would you react? Would you become a "terrorist" to get foreigners out of your country?
Video helps create empathy and outrage…thats because we dont see so much reality on traditional TV.
I would love to see people videoblogging in Iraq: Iraqis, US soldiers, anyone.
I want to see reality from the ground, unfiltered.
Let’s base our armchair politics on real points of view…

UPDATE: for more graphic, unseen photos and videos that are supposedly uploaded from US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, go here.

    music is gay…
    don’t really see anything…

  2. I have seen a handfull of torture videos made durring Sadam’s rule.
Even without the blood or people screaming in pain, this is just as worse.
I hope there was a good reason to this.

If you watch the video, you see someone shooting at cars on the road the car with a machine gun. It apparently seems random.
You should also read the links to get some background.
The point of linking to this video is simple:
We americans should see everything going on in the country.
Lets see videos of iraqis, and US soldiers, terrorists, and everyone.
Here are some incredibly graphic war photos posted by US soldiers.

Reguardless if you think the war is justified or not, we must see the reality. What we see on US TV and in US newspapers is extremely limited and ultimately harmful because it keeps us ignorant.

Where’d the video link go? Am I missing something? It aggregated into my FireAnt, but the image now links to a site, not a video.
If there’s any chance whatsoever that this video was made by anyone associated with the US occupation of Iraq, it should definitely be investigated. From the little I’ve read, that’s what’s being done. It’s equally possible it was made by (other) foreign terrorists as an attempt to dredge up anti-US/UK/ETC sentiment. Yet another reason this should be fully investigated.

In Colombia we don’t have cases like this, where Colombians shoot to foreigners, it has never happend. Although there are bomb attacks, its a war between the guerrillas and drug cartels agains the army, police and government.
I do know that because that situation,, more people walk the streets armed. So if anyone shoots at you with no apparent reason, it higly that you will have an arm to shoot back.
Tough situations. I wish there were videobloggers in Colombia, but the internet connections there are even worse (more expensive) than here in the US.
