Great video.
One of the most powerful scenes in the video for me was when you showed the street and people walking around outside then panned into your computer screen. It made me feel weird about how much time I spend behind the screen watching other people have conversations and live life. I watch and watch and watch others, and don’t say or do much myself.
My conversations are asleep; I need to wake up and make things and conversations. Conversations with people, conversations with ideas, conversations with things, conversations with everything…
Wake and Make.
jay – while i appreciate the effort you put into encouraging others – i love it when i see that there’s a new video being downloaded into my fireant from momentshowing…your videos are just as important as your words.
This was stunning. It makes me glad to know people like you and Ryanne. I really love when you show how much you respect her through this kind of footage. You two make me feel so good about love sometimes. And killer music. Yeah…amazing.
Sometimes I get so lost in the whole grand pubah of videoblogging and the keep the conversation going, I forget what an amazing artist you are. This is one of my favorite posts of the year. (Maybe you could get working on that Videoblogging Award Gala?) Much respect.
Jay you selectes some very nice or interesting moments for repeating themselfs… I like dit.
Now I’ll have to try and do something inspired by your video. jeje.
The slow song… I would have never used something like this, thinking it wouldn.t work… but here it does. So I guess I was wrong….
And I couldn’t agree more as you said: “…we effect each other…”
yes – i always love your videos. it’s a shame you don’t cut stuff together more often (at least, stuff we see i mean). you’re a very inspiring person who puts a lot out into the world, it’s nice to also enjoy you stopping to take a breath.
My god Jay…can’t stop watching this. I think it’s one of my all time faves…of anything. A thing of beauty is still a joy forever. Create and the world’s more lovely. Oh yes.
i like when you make videos
Glad to see a new one with a few surprises!

I really admire your photographer’s eye and sense for beauty in the small things. Videos like this enrich everyone who sees them, so thank you.

So not what I expected and so achingly open and wonderful.
