Ryanne and I just got back from a weeklong meetup in Montana. Scoble invited everyone to his Mom’s house to hang out. Ryan did a great job editing. we’ve gotten into a pattern where I shoot all my weird moments…and she makes it into a coherent story. We now have a community blog where we document the smart people/events/projects that we come in contact with.

The idea was to be "off the grid"…but I think it was more about being away from SF.
It was very cool to meet Montana geeks who are usually invisible to the insular world of the Bay Area. Robert Scoble turned out to be extermely cool and easy to talk with. It’s pretty amazing to me how down to earth he is considering all the hype that surrounds him. His son, Patrick, is one of the smartest kids Ive met in a long time.
Anyone who lives in a city is a sucker.
