For the past 3 months we’ve been doing an experiment in Co-working.
A brainchild of Brad Neuberg and Chris Messina, the idea is to create spaces where freelancers can work together, allow collaboration to occur, and develop a network of Co-working sites that you can visit while travelling around the world.
We are doing our part at the Hat Factory, formerly Teh Space.
Take a video tour….
After some initial chaotic confusion dealing with idealism and money, we finally settled into a workable model for our situation. For $170 a month, you can get keys to the wharehouse loft with full kitchen and bathroom. Or you can drop in for $10 a day. We have 8 "anchors" so far…and going strong. We’re in DogPatch…so come on by. Please call ahead to make sure someone is there: 917 371 6790.

like a dream come true for me.

man, this is awesome, jay.
cant wait to swing in!
Nice post, Jay. We’ve put together a great community at the Hat Factory coworking space, and after a few months it looks like it’s all stabilized. I’m looking forward to working with everyone and getting to know them even better in the months ahead. I’ve been in and out of the space a bit the last few months, doing lots of personal and business traveling, but that should settle down in October.
Best,
Brad
what a dreamy work space.
