Everyone who watched my videos knows I love bugs. There’s something so alien and creepy about them. They are mostly harmless, yet they inspire so much fear.
But here in Dharmashala, I’m not the only one who loves them.

During the wifi conference, we stopped to have tea every couple hours. During one of these breaks, our friend Tracy had some spontaneous fun with the local Tibetan kids using her Canon Powershot and laptop. Just another example of how kids in whatever culture understand technology is just a game to play with. The wonder.
This week we’re helping set up a videoblogging work station in their computer lab where they’lll have their own Mac, camcorder, and internet line. More on that soon.
Our friend Rick shows us some worms he found in the shower. Unfortunately, the sewage system in India isn’t what we’re used to in the US.

Maurice is a german working for an NGO government organization to help build infrastructure in Kigali. His blog is already a great place to read about his experiences there. The video just makes it all come alive. The sites and sounds are extremely important to understanding a different culture no matter how good a writer you are.

We all know the tech isnt really difficult….the challenge is convincing someone that it’s worth the effort.
We have a new project on havemoneywillvlog.com.
It’s exciting to see people come up with these great videoblogging projects which are great examples of this new medium. And sometimes all it takes is a little bit of money from each of us to make it happen.
